A First Timer’s Guide To Safe Home Relocation

Image
Hey Everyone! I believe that first time home relocation is always exciting and challenging. I did it when I was 19. It was quite adventurous as well because I packed everything with my friends. One of my friends also suggested me to hire a good moving company in Adelaide and we booked one. They were amazing but I had to pay extra because I hired them at the last moment. The mistakes I made in the first experienced should not be repeated again. To help you understand more and discover great ways, read the article I am sharing below on my page to help you relocate safely if doing for the first time.  https://www.betterremovalistsadelaide.com.au/a-first-timers-guide-to-safe-home-relocation/

Pubs consider making side salads optional to cut down on waste amid rising cost of groceries

Image
The humble side salad often occupies an unassuming place on the pub-meal plate. For many, it's an obligatory component of a pub lunch, nestling between the chips and the schnitzel. Even if we don't actually end up eating our greens, we might like the option of having them there. But for pubs, it's a different story — while we reserve the right to be fickle, they fork out regardless.  South Australian public servants responsible for assessing sporting grants had no oversight of more than $80 million in grant funding handed out by the state's new Labor government just weeks after taking office. An ABC analysis of the 72 sporting grants, announced in the state budget, shows 69 of them were made to seats the Labor Party held or gained at the election, prompting accusations of pork-barrelling. The Office of Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) yesterday confirmed it has not assessed the $84 million in grants for sports club upgrades allocated in the state budget. In a statement to ABC News, a spokesperson for the government agency said the projects were considered "election commitments".  Read More: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-06-15/sa-government-bypasses-sports-grants-assessment-process/101152554

One Nation MP Sarah Game backs push for ban on public display of swastika in South Australia

Image
South Australia's first One Nation MP has backed moves to outlaw the public display of the swastika, including in tattoos.  The SA government has already begun investigating ways to ban the "Nazi hate symbol", but Sarah Game has said she intends to introduce her own bill to parliament to prohibit depictions in all but very limited circumstances. While the swastika is notorious as the symbol of the Nazis, it also has entirely peaceful meanings in some world religions, and Ms Game said her bill would — like a proposal from Attorney-General Kyam Maher — allow exemptions for "genuine" religious and artistic purposes. She said her bill was heavily based on laws already operating interstate, with only minor amendments.
